How to Beat the Sickness Blues

Are you inside on a sunny day, and you are ill? Or perhaps you end up getting a cold on a fun outing? Even if you are just generally ill for whatever reason, it's always no fun, so follow these steps to recover quicker, and have fun too!

Steps

    1
Prepare. If you are not ill, but feel a cold coming on, try preparing. Try:
Buying some soothers or medicine: To help you recover!
Tidying your room: It feels rubbish being ill in a messy room. Clean rooms are much better to live in generally!
Being hygenic: Don't put your hands in your mouth, and carry handgel around with you.
    2
Go for a quick walk. Sometimes, sitting there thinking "I feel rubbish" makes you feel worse, so go out for a quick stroll around the park. This will make you feel better, and give you fresh oxygen.
    3
Get the right medication. Soothers for sore throats and blocked noses, ice packs for fevers, etc. Be sure to have the right medication!
    4
Find entertainment. It's not good to sit in bed playing computer all day. Try drawing or reading. You can play video games every few hours, but too much can cause headaches.
    5
Eat healthily. Don't pig out on crisps and cake, as this can make you feel worse. Eat small portions, and healthy too!
    6
Keep in touch. If you are ill on a school/work day, try ringing/skyping your friend(s) to see how their day went, and have a little chat. It will make you happier!
    7
Try something new. Have a go at writing a story or making something for a friend. You could find a new hobby!
    8
Take a quick shower. This will lift your spirits and make you feel a little better!
 Tips

Take a few naps. This will refresh you!
Drink lots of water. Not only does this soothe sore throats, it causes you to urinate, which means you can urinate the bug out!

Warnings

Don't pretend to be ill. This will get you nowhere, make you feel bad, and unessecary medication can cause you to be really ill!
