Want an
easy way to store information about a person in one convenient location?
Well, a dossier is the best way to go about handling the situation,
but, there are several steps that go into making a proper dossier.
- 1Create the proper format on a program such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
- 2Have a clean organized layout with the photo in the top left or right hand corner, and information to the side of the photo of whom you are creating the dossier on.
- 3Gather information for said dossier such as a photo, name, date of birth, weight, sex, sexual preference, place of work, school/intuition of study, vehicle, phone number, etc.
- 4Keep in an organized manner such as a file cabinet and alphabetically listed.
- If you plan on keeping your dossiers a secret, you should keep them in slicks or safes.
- You can obtain certain information about a person online from public records offices such as your local Circuit Clerk's website and social network websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc.
- You can also use word of mouth and networking to find information about a person for your dossier.
Warnings
- Use only legal means to obtain information on a person as it is dangerous and inadvisable to break the law to ascertain information on someone.
- Different states have different privacy and harassment laws so be aware of your local laws when compiling your dossier.
- Many people may have an aversion to somebody who is known to keep files on people as well, so, I would advise to keep your dossiers private and for yourself only.
